Biography

GODSLUT is a Polish death metal band formed in 2020, known for a hard-hitting approach that combines technical precision, thrash metal aggression and groove-driven heaviness. The band emerged with a lineup featuring guitarist and vocalist Krzysiek Śniadecki, bassist and vocalist Daniel Kozyra, and drummer Paweł “Pavulon” Jaroszewicz, whose previous work includes prominent names in the Polish extreme metal scene.

GODSLUT's music draws on the more direct and punishing traditions of death metal while incorporating sharp thrash-inspired riffing, forceful rhythms and tightly controlled arrangements. Their sound balances technical musicianship with an emphasis on impact and momentum, bringing together old-school death metal ferocity and a more modern, groove-conscious attack. The band has cited influences and points of comparison including Morbid Angel, Vader, Suffocation, Decapitated and Death.

Their debut full-length, Procreation of God, was released on May 5, 2023, through Selfmadegod Records. Across nine tracks, the album established their combination of technical death metal, thrash-influenced riffing and crushing heaviness. The record featured Jaroszewicz on drums and was mixed and mastered by Paweł “Janos” Grabowski.

On September 4, 2026, GODSLUT returned with their second album, The Art of Deconstruction, released through Selfmadegod Records. Featuring eight tracks, including “Scent,” “Druglust,” “Self-made Gods” and the title track, the album continues the band's uncompromising exploration of aggressive, technically minded death metal. The lineup now features Jakub Maciuk on drums alongside Kozyra and Śniadecki.

With their blend of precision, relentless aggression and thrash-inflected brutality, GODSLUT represent a forceful contemporary voice within Poland's death metal underground, remaining rooted in the genre's classic foundations while delivering a sharp, modern attack.
