Biography
Frontman and guitarist Prithee Lake found his calling one fateful night in 2006 when he set his playlist to shuffle. There wasn't much to do for a young man like Lake in Salem, Oregon. In a place like that you make your own fun or have none at all. Acid on his tounge and caution to the wind, Prithee began a sonic journey into another world... Not knowing what to expect, his whole musical library was in the mix... while Lake thought he was touching God, the symphonic delights of Neutral Milk Hotel melted into the soulcandy of Weird Al. Perhaps it was the acid talking, but that night Prithee Lake felt that human nature was finally clear to him.
The next day, Lake sold his iPod and bought a guitar. It was time to stop consuming music and begin making it. There was only one goal on his mind: to meld the complex emotional palette of avante-garde indie rock with the simple joys of comedy.

Meanwhile, on the opposite end of the city, Maxwell Spenders was gorging on a diet of Beatles and Tom Lehrer. Born into a family of strict Christian Methodologists, Spenders was finally learning true freedom of thought in college. Making up for his lack of social knowledge by developing an impressive sense of wit, Maxwell gained acceptance from his peers with quick, improvisational poems. Eventually becoming his school paper's concert reviewer, Spenders found himself witness to Prithee Lake's one-man show opening for local metal band Dethbard. Lake claimed during the show that he could set anything to music on the spot, and Maxwell quickly composed a short lyric derisive of the musician's talents. Lake preformed the verse anyway and later struck up a friendship with his critic.
Finding common ground, the two decided to combine thier talents into the art collective known only as GRAZE THE SKYLINES. The groundbreaking duo is now making waves nationwide, because of thier simple, relatable philosophy: the best way to overcome the darkness of the human experience is to- against all odds- laugh at it.
