Biography
Green Coat Face is a relative newcomer to the Brooklyn music scene.
Green Coat Face began work on Turnstile, their first album, in 2006 while living in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. Three apartments were converted into a "live in" recording studio, to assist in the process. The project was put on the back burner for several years, but revived in 2008 after the band relocated to Williamsburg, Brooklyn. More recent additions to Turnstile were taken from compositions produced while scoring a documentary film directed by Matthew Kulvicki and produced by Andrew Brennan titled, "Closer to God".
