Hæresis is a German post-metal band from Berlin, formed in 2016. Initially rooted in sludge, black metal and crust, the band has evolved towards a blend of Post-Black Metal, atmospheric black metal and avant-garde influences. Their sound combines abrasive riffs, dissonant melodies, intense vocals and shifting dynamics with expansive atmospheric passages, balancing raw aggression with dark, immersive soundscapes.
Hæresis explore the tension between ferocity and atmosphere, incorporating elements of Post-Metal into compositions that move between relentless intensity and more expansive, introspective passages.
