Biography
HOEHN, consisting of the brothers Samuel and Silvan Kuntz, have been playing guitar together since early childhood. They rely primarily on their musical intuition, which grows from their brotherly bond. Inspired by a joint road trip through the coastal towns of Portugal, HOEHN wrote the piece “ Ericeira”. HOEHN are giving a first taste of their upcoming debut album MISTRAL (release: May 2024).
They named their debut album after the northwest wind that is characteristic of southern France. This brings back childhood memories from the summer holidays when they first started playing guitar together.

In addition to HOEHN, Samuel and Silvan have been one half of the alternative pop band Panda Lux for several years and, more recently, Silvan has as San Silvan released his first solo EP in collaboration with Sophie Hunger.
On their first studio album MISTRAL, HOEHN, whose name is a homage to their great-grandfather, the famous pianist Alfred Hoehn, combine their technical skills on classical and jazz guitar with their lifelong experience of writing songs together. Anyone who attends a HOEHN concert experiences a musical journey to a place where air and space to breathe unfold, the lungs open and you suddenly begin to float.
