Biography
HonigMut is a German singer-songwriter and acoustic cover duo consisting of musicians Melina and Nando. Formed in August 2015, the duo performs a mix of original compositions and unique acoustic covers.
The band's name is a combination of the meanings behind the members' first names. "Melina" translates from Greek as "the honey-sweet" (Honig in German), while "Nando" is derived from Hungarian, meaning "the brave" (Mut in German).

Before forming HonigMut, Melina and Nando were both independently active in the same local music scene. They officially met in April 2015 while preparing for a singer-songwriter showcase. Discovering a strong musical and personal connection, they formed the duo and played their first official performance as HonigMut in August 2015.
Since their debut, HonigMut has built a steady following, having played over 300 live shows ranging from public concerts to private events and weddings.
