Biography

I'll Pick You Up started in the autumn of 2009, but only in the summer of the following year they decided to really pick up the pace. June 2011 brought their first tour, followed shortly by the release of their first selftitled EP. Their next tour, which started in January 2012, would be a co-headline tour that introduced them to big Dutch venues like 013, Paard van Troje and Willemeen.

The first single with a music video was released shortly after this tour. 'Out of Control' was viewed 5000 times within only one week. Following the footprints of big Dutch acts, they recorded their new single 'Against the World' in the well known Graveland Studio.

Their songs vary from distortion-drive rocksongs with an open sound to sensitive ballads. It's not without a reason that their inspirations are not only bands like Yellowcard and Boys Like Girls, but also Lifehouse and The Script. This blending of genres makes for a rapidly growing fanbase which follows the band not only online, but also to every one of their shows. The fact that the bandmembers have as much contact as possible with their fans not only through Twitter and Facebook, but after their shows as well, might also have somehting to do with that.

Driven by their passion for music, I'll Pick You Up is preparing for their big breakthrough, where Europe is just a small part of their final goal.
