Biography
IDIOT! is an Israeli alt-pop duo comprised of Ori Rousso (Noga Erez, ROUSSO) and Itamar Loebstein. The two, then known as Booko, released the English-language EP The Downer in 2023. They assumed their current name a year later and a string of singles (now in Hebrew) followed, culminating in their début album, האמנה החברתית (The Social Contract) in early 2025, which features two reworked versions of Booko songs as well as a translated cover of Rufus Wainwright’s “Going to a Town”.
