Biography
The formation of IND dates back to May 2002, when KAREL (guitar) and JAROMIR (vocals) got the idea to start a punk band. It was probably one of the good ideas to vent their feelings and frustration with the surrounding society, which tries to throw sticks under the feet of people who don't fit its norms. MATES, who already had some experience in drumming, was cast as drummer... After various suggestions for a band name, Mates' idea of "Idioti Nové Doby" took hold. At first we thought this phrase was too humorous, because we don't think that what we produce is something funny - quite the opposite. But after a short consideration, the name took hold. Most people think of us as idiots anyway, so why not...! Viktor joins us as bass player. After a couple of rehearsals, the first songs and the first possibilities of live performances are created, which are quite successful. We record our first CD "Strach Ze Změny", which is released on Impregnate and in the summer of 2003 we go on a fortnightly tour with MASS GENOCIDE PROCESS in the Czech Republic, Germany, Belgium and Holland, where the spirit of IND is strengthened.
After a short time, however, a lull occurs as VIKTOR quits IND due to his dislike of the style. After a long break he is replaced by his old friend ČERPADLO. We start rehearsing again, but soon he leaves us too due to lack of time. This period becomes dead for IND. After almost half a year of groping and despair, PETA joins us. As the only person with a musical background, he fills the gap to relaunch IND.

The worst moment for us, however, comes when we are forced to say goodbye to MATES because his behaviour and attitude towards the matter was still unsustainable (alcohol, work, school). Incredibly quickly, however, we find a new drummer, LUKÁŠE (the youngest member with the oldest appearance), who used to hang around the garages and bands that used to operate in Otrokovice and soon broke up. LUKÁŠ brings new energy to IND, we change the rehearsal room and new songs start to appear.After the recording of the CD " Systematický podvod " another bass player Šimáno disappears, who replaced Peťa before. Karel doesn't want to play in the band anymore because of lack of time. That's how the Idiots end...
