Biography

Immortal Disfigurement is an American symphonic deathcore band from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, formed in 2021. They are known for their heavy, orchestral-infused deathcore sound featuring crushing breakdowns, guttural vocals, and symphonic elements.

The band was founded by vocalist CJ McCreery (formerly of Lorna Shore and Signs of the Swarm) and guitarist Josh Freeman (ex-A Wake in Providence). They were soon joined by bassist Shane Slade (ex-Winds of Plague, ex-Molotov Solution). Immortal Disfigurement blends brutal deathcore with symphonic elements, drawing comparisons to bands like Lorna Shore (due to McCreery's history and vocal style) and Signs of the Swarm. Their themes often revolve around misanthropy, hatred, and apocalyptic imagery.
