J. Megatron

The best thing about J.Megatron from a fan standpoint is that each rendition gets better. Lyrically and production wise. so as you become accustomed to the delectable flows of the baritone wordsmith, the next song is better. Sadly, some of the earlier works suffer from bad recording and an artist who hadn't connected with his message yet.

The message (s) can vary, yet the central theme is from the progressive left with a mix of the self-defined 'spiritual gangsta'. The Islamic theme that flows seamlessly thru his words is so beautiful as to be irreversibly perfect. Most of his music has been stellar with consistent ideas and song formats that encapsulate the complexity of an artist and render them as groovy songs and funky rhythms.

J.Megatron is lyrically uncanny and reaching for a word crown in an age of style and unintelligence maniested as a badge of honor. Perhaps the goal is misplaced? Outdated? Or even unrealistically undefinable?

Nonetheless, J.Megatron began many trends that we see now as profitable streams in hip-hop. Independent artist have frequently been the mold that major label artist build their Michaelangelo from. From the name itself, little to unknown works like The Prince of Zamunda, the Vampire identification-Hi Jim Jones and the worshipping of The Jacka all started with this guy. His best album is 2016s SHESUS but his best work is 2016s J.Megatronas Blacksmith. His influences are reflected in song titles 2Pac Love, I am 2Pac, Mac Dre Made, #MipJacka, C-Bo Dedication & Mozzy Dedication and an upcoming release entitled, Blood, Bladadah & Barmitzvahs. His song My Favorite Rapper lists all of California's rappers, so he's definitely Western Conference.

With more than 30 song collaborations from super producer Nocoast Blacksmith and an equal amount of features from The Professor aka King Franko: the old-school feel is present. With a new school pizzazz that makes for great listening and smooth features. Every artist has it's draw backs and every artist has liabilities on the microphone, with J.Megatron there doesn't appear to be any except recording. As the sounds improved over the years and the rapper stopped his monotone lecture series we were audio witnesses to the hottest bars since Ghost Face Killah, Lil Wayne or even Smigg Dirtee (to touch the hip-hop regions).

Lost in translation, is the fact that this dude raps in the shadow of hip-hop icon Interstate Ike-the ever present monstrosity that is the Interstate Legend can feel I surmountable as Denver or The Mile High still hasn't had major label (long-term) success. J.Megatron is a force, best described as 'The Dark Force', which presently science doesn't completely comprehend.

Yo- J.Megatron released two book under his presumed birth name, Javier Tousssaint; The Power of Love and Shoes=Girls in 2018.
