Biography
Jessica Phillips was born on November 3rd in Nashville, TN, but she was raised in New England, giving her an attractive mix of southern musicality and rich northern training. Jessica started out as a competitive dancer before turning to acting; she studied the Linklater Technique as a teen and later had the privilege of training under Kristin Linklater herself. Jessica's musical training coincided with her dance and acting coaching; she trained passionately in music and competed and performed at the national level as a vocalist.
Jessica was able to bring the three disciplines together when she attended Emerson College, where she earned her BFA in Musical Theatre. It wasn't long before Jessica moved south of Boston, to New York City, where she participated in various readings and developmental workshops, national tours, television, voice-overs, and feature films. Within a few years, Jessica found herself living her dream on Broadway.
