Frontman Benny Cortez himself brings his all out animated in-your-face performance to the stage, while smoking hot guitar work from Tony “Fingers” Naranjo and rhythm section veterans, Roy Solis on drums, Leo “Thunder” Hopkins on bass, and Drake Shining on keyboards, explains the amazing popularity of this group. Combining elements of Traditional Blues, Soul, Funk and R&B, their audiences cant help but get up and boogie as they are are left mesmerized by they’re performances.

The Jumpin Jack Benny Blues Band, have collectively recorded and shared the stage with The Delgado Brothers, B.B. Chung King, Little Milton, WAR, El Chicano, Bo Diddley, James Cotton and a host of others in the music industry. The Jumpin Jack Benny Blues Band has performed at venues such as The Simi Cajun/Blues Festival ,Inland Empire Blues festival, Fender Center For The Performing Arts, House of Blues, Taste Of Texas, ABC Blues Club, B.B. Kings, as well as other festivals and special events.

Jumpin Jack Benny came in 2nd place out of 20 bands, held Nov. 2008 for The International Blues Challenge contest sponsored by The Southern California Blues Society.
