Biography
Junkplanet (see also: Junkplanet 2) was Christopher Alcxxk and John Brainlove (pictured; formerly a member of The $hit / Muscle Bastard and founder of Brainlove Records) making music with a twisted sense of no-fi electropunk fun, mixed with doses of experimental post-rock and soporific electronic squiggling.
The debut album, Not If This Was The Last Planet On Earth, was released in mid-2005 by Brainlove Records. The second album, Dial Tone Heart, see a characteristically unpredictable change of direction, and is planned for a cassette-only release in 2006.
