Biography
Katabatic is a Lisbon-based band carrying a distinctly instrumental sound within and a more psychedelic, progressive, and contemporary wave. The line-up follows a classic rock structure with guitar, bass, and drums, and occasional vocals supported by creative elements of percussion and electronics.
“Weighs Like a Nightmare on the Brains of the Living” is their third EP after the “Vago” EP (2007) and the “Heavy Water” album (2012). The digital distribution is being carried out by NMusic (Lisbon/Portugal) and the vinyl release will be available soon. It was produced by Makoto Yagyu and Fábio Jevelim, and mastered by Chris Common.
