Kira Puru & the Bruise, trailblazers of the DOOM-POP genre, hail from Newcastle, Australia. Forming in 2009, they've spent subsequent years gigging in the Australian underground live music scene.
Influences include Angelo Badalamenti, Shellac, Jeff Buckley, Arctic Monkeys, Portishead, Radiohead Kanye West, Battles, Etta james, Outkast, Dangermouse, the Drones, Grizzly Bear, Lana Del Rey and Nick Cave
