Kiran Leonard

Biography

Kiran Leonard is an English musician, originally from Saddleworth, Greater Manchester. Creating a wide variety of music from an early age, including under the artist name Pend Oreille, he now considers much of this early material as demos and/or juvenalia. Since 2011's Bowler Hat Soup he has released a series of albums under his own name, exploring music in different ways and with evolving backing bands. On his website he categorises his sprawling discography into five different "strands", various shades of composed ("fixed"), improvised and live recordings ("unfixed").
