In 2003, Limbonic Art disbanded. In a statement published on the band's official website, the members stated that they felt they had taken their collaboration as far as possible and that it was time to pursue new directions.
On 6 June 2006, Limbonic Art reunited and began writing new material. In February 2007, the band announced plans to release a new album, "Legacy of Evil", later that year.
A dispute between Daemon and Morfeus led to Morfeus's departure from the band in 2009. Following his departure, Limbonic Art continued primarily as Daemon's project. The band subsequently released the albums "Phantasmagoria" in 2010 and "Spectre Abysm" in 2017.
