History
The band debuted with the EP Cores do Vento (2009), gaining national recognition with the release of Veroz (2011). In 2012, their move to São Paulo marked the beginning of a new creative phase, as well as greater presence in festivals and media across Brazil's Southeast region.
The album Vamos pra Rua (2013) brought a fuller sound and collaborations with artists such as Carlinhos Brown and Wado. During this period, the track Motor gained national attention, and was later recorded by Gal Costa.
III (2015)
Often regarded as a turning point in the band’s career, III was released in 2015, when the group was performing as a trio (Teago Oliveira, Rodrigo Damati, and Felipe Dieder). Produced by Rafael Ramos and recorded on analog reel-to-reel tape, the album adopts a more stripped-down, power trio approach, resulting in a cleaner, more direct sound. It was a critical and commercial success, driven by tracks such as "Mantra" and "Dança Diferente."
Maturity and Expansion
With the return to a four-piece lineup on Todas as Bandeiras (2017), the band expanded its sonic palette with 12-string guitars and synthesizers, exploring a brighter lyrical tone that flirted with social and existential themes.
Following a hiatus from studio releases, the recording of Maglore Ao Vivo, and solo projects by Teago and Lucas, the band released V (2022). Their fifth studio album features a broader musical approach, incorporating sophisticated arrangements with brass and strings, drawing from 1970s MPB and influences such as Caetano Veloso and The Beatles.
In 2024, to celebrate their 15th anniversary, the band released the Acústico project, revisiting their catalog with new arrangements and including the track "Tela Quente".
Fluxo Natural
Following the stylistic expansion of V, Fluxo Natural develops a more defined identity. Its polished arrangements draw strongly from 1970s soft/yacht rock and 1980s MPB, while retaining the psychedelic pop and folk elements Maglore had explored on V. Rather than the wide stylistic range of its predecessor, the album focuses on a more specific musical language, combining these influences into a distinctive take on pop rock that feels both familiar and uncommon within Brazilian indie music.
Its songwriting is shaped by more elaborate arrangements and a distinct aesthetic, moving further away from the band's earlier indie-pop sound. The album marks another change in the band's musical direction, reinforcing Maglore's tendency to continually reshape its sound from one release to the next.
