Grayson Currin (The Independent Weekly)
"You can judge most pop albums by one crucial measure: Do you find yourself humming the songs afterward? In the case of "You Can Go Anywhere, Do Anything," the debut album of Carrboro's Max Indian, that answer would be a resounding yes. Somehow both lush and low-fi, "Do Anything" has nine glorious pop mini-symphonies, with hooks to spare and song after song that you'll want to hear again and again."
