The latest project from brother-sister collaborators Paul Layton and Lara Layton, MAXXFEMM presents a unique brand of high-grade pop that seamlessly references an array of new wave, rock, electronic and disco influences. Paul’s sophisticated arrangements and Lara’s ironic vocals lend an art-house quality to music that remains accessible enough for Top 40 airplay and heavy club rotation. Maxxfemm's debut EP – WEAK CONDITION – is available online and in in stores April '07. They are currently recording their debut LP.
