Biography
Melisander is the artistic moniker of Riccardo Zorzi, a multi-instrumentalist, composer and experimental artist whose work spans music production, film scoring, field recording and sound design. His work has grown from a lifelong curiosity about sound and a desire to explore where music can lead when boundaries are left open.
Moving naturally between piano, electronics, ambient, cinematic and experimental music, he brings together composition, production and sound in a way that feels both intuitive and considered. Whether working with acoustic instruments, electronics or sounds captured from the world around him, he is drawn to texture, atmosphere and the emotional potential of listening.
