Biography
Mexican Institute of Sound (the project of Mexico City’s Camilo Lara) and Colombia’s Meridian Brothers (led by Eblis Álvarez) teamed up for the album Ruido Tovar. The cross-border collaboration reimagines psychedelic cumbia and Latin tropical traditions, blending vintage electronic experimentation with the eccentric, avant-garde styles of both artists.
