The song is slow and melodic, and gradually reaches a climax where Shakira ends the song. It has been noted that in the song, Shakira does not use her typical voice throughout the whole song. Her voice is much softer and is said mostly in a whisper, which has been her recent goal and is demonstrated in Shakira's Oral Fixation Volumes 1 & 2.
As the song was only released as digital download, it was only able to chart on the Italian FIMI Download Chart, peaking at number two and becoming Shakira's eighth Top 5 single in that country.
