Biography
Mike Parker is an American DJ, electronic music producer, and fine arts academic based out of Buffalo, New York. Operating in the underground electronic scene since the mid-1990s, Parker has built an immutable reputation as a pioneer of hypnotic, deep, and abstract techno. Uniquely, his approach to auditory production is intrinsically bound to his background as a formally trained visual artist. Rather than following conventional, overcrowded minimal trends, Parker uses a stark, textured palette built around modular synthesizers and repeating, shifting elements to create immersive sonic experiences
