Biography
Mike Stringer is a Canadian guitar player from Victoria, British Columbia, known for his work in multiple progressive metal bands. He is a nationally touring musician who started his first band, "Fall In Archaea," in 2008 at 16.
After multiple albums and tours, Mike became a fill-in member of the polarizing band "iwrestledabearonce" in 2013 to help with the release of their album "Late For Nothing." He was a fill-in guitarist from 2013-2014, but he later became a full-time member and contributed to the writing and recording of their release "Hail Mary" in 2015 on Artery Recordings.

Following his departure from "iwrestledabearonce," Mike formed a new project and began writing for "Spiritbox." He self-released their debut EP in October 2017 and used his beloved 070 and 060 to record it.
In addition to his music career, Mike made a striking visual transformation in 2017 when he decided to turn into a "hot blonde."
Mike's work as a guitarist in multiple bands and his unique visual transformation have garnered attention in the progressive metal scene, making him a notable figure in the genre.
