Biography
Incited by András Schiff, the four artists formed the Mikrokosmos String Quartet in 1998 having primarily the performance of Bartók’s quartets in mind. In the Bartók-year of 2006 (and ever since) they played the works in several European towns but their repertory also covers the quartets of Haydn, Beethoven and Brahms.
