Biography
-MInd RapEd- mindraped.-to influence one enough to control like brain wash. The media does it every day with their visa gold cards and old navy tech pants. Some people believe everything they hear. To sum up the name Mindraped, the band would have to say that it basically means how the media tries to brain wash people everyday. How the media gets people hooked on to liking certain things by making it seem cool and sh*t. That is some what the whole meaning of Mindraped.
The band has gone through some changes in the past with members, but we have finally got the connection we need. As of now the band as you know it is vocals: Randy B., guitar: Bates, bass: Sean, drums: Lee, and samples: Ryan. When the band first started out we didnt have samples and guitar player was Atom B. We had just started jamming and came up with some really good sh*t. Three months later Ryan, who was always at practices, bought a sampler and just in one day had joined the band. We played shows and practiced are ass's off alot. Then the fall of 2000 we had added a percusionist. Well things kind of fell through with that about a few months later with not showing up for practice's and shit. So we had to let him go. Then are guitar player Atom had some problems and had to move, so we picked up a friend of are's. You all know him as Bates. And now the latest of band info is due to some musical, and social differences, Bryce is no longer our drummer. We are now playing with Lee, formerly of label, and a little side shit with bates, and sean. That is some what of the story to kind of sum up how the band come along so far. As for our music. We try to create our own type of music. We have been told by people that we rip off Mudvayne/Slipknot with what we do, but that is fine with us, even though we all about fucking hate Slipknot, but Mudvayne is a favorite within the band, as well as influences from nothingface, spineshank, and cradle of filth to name a few. It is kind of hard to be original now days, but we try.

-MindRaped- consists of Randy B. as the voice, Bates on guitar, Lee on drums, Sean plays bass, and Stinger adds the samples. MindRaped as a band has existed for around 5 years with an ever changing line-up until about February of 2002 when the band finally settled into the current line-up. After finally settling the band went into the studio and recorded their first CD in April 2002. As of now the band is playing as many shows that are available and even putting on their own events at such places as the State Theater in Bay City. Mindraped has completed there sophomore effort, tactically entitled, "SuperFicial", the follow-up to "Before the Storm". A third disc titled, "Truth Through Trials", is in the works and should be out by the end of 2004.
