Biography
He grew up in New York. During the 50s, son of the afro-cuban conga player Mongo Santamaria, he was surrounded by Latin music, especially by Tito Puentes Orchestra in which his father played. Piano player, Monguito Santamaria recorded, in a Latin Soul style, a serie of LPs for Fania Records from the late 60s.
