Biography
MONOCHROME NAUSEA is a drum and noise guitar improv - grind - powerviolence - avantgarde duo based in Oslo. With Sergi Saldaña Massó on drums and Christer Lunnan-Reitan on feedbacker guitar and vocals. Both Sergi and Christer have experience from various extreme music environments, and met for the first time when they played a concert at Blitz (Oslo).
Monochrome Nausea plays exclusively improvised music with roots in grindcore and noise; the main outcome is an unfiltered blowout of emotions and thoughts that arise there and then, wrapped in a more experimental hardcore costume. The duo draws inspiration from Painkiller to NOXAGT, from Dropdead to Pig Destroyer, from Merzbow to Lasse Marhaug, from Iron Monkey to Discordance Axis.
