History:

They evolved into a rock band that performs club music genres—such as breakbeat, dubstep, drum and bass, and house—using live instrumentation. In pursuit of "the distortion created by loops played at the limits of human capability, and the pleasure born from that," they adopt a live performance style that eschews the use of any synchronization equipment or pre-recorded loops.

Mop of Head is the band formed by George to realize a dream he had held since his junior high school days. He recruited the drummer who preceded current member Saku (Dr) during junior high, guitarist Takuma Kikuchi during high school, and bassist Hitomi Kuramochi during university, officially forming the band in 2006.

On August 21, 2009, the *Mop of Head E.P.* was released exclusively at live music venues.
