Biography
Van der Graaf Generator alumni Nic Potter and Guy Evans released an instrumental album in 1981 bearing the title 'The Long Hello Volume 2', a sequel to their 1974 collaborative album with David Jackson and Hugh Banton, also of VdGG fame. If this sounds interesting you still may want to keep your prog wizard cape in the closet; the album is full of short, light and fun instrumental jams (with a lot of surf pop), none of that claustrophobic avant-rock of their mother band.
