Their music combines old-school death metal riffing, harsh vocals and aggressive drumming with a darker and more contemporary production. The band describes their music as a cathartic means of expressing emotions that can be difficult to put into words, turning personal darkness and inner demons into something tangible.
In 2025, Nocturnal Ceremony released their first full-length album, Obsidian, marking their return after nearly thirty years and continuing the band's journey from the early Norwegian death metal underground into the present.
