Biography
Old Lady is a honky-tonk and rock and roll band based in New Jersey. The group is anchored by a trio of songwriters—Collin J. Rocker, Isaac Candelario, and Kailey Rocker—who have spent over a decade performing extensively throughout the Northeastern United States, establishing themselves as a fixture of the regional live music circuit.
The band's sound is characterized by a dynamic tension between high-energy, provocative rock and roll and introspective, clear-eyed lyricism. Their approach to Americana balances the loose, raucous atmosphere of a late-night performance with the sobering clarity of the morning after. The core songwriting trio is backed by a rhythm section featuring bassist Joe E. Nester, alongside the atmospheric contributions of producer and organist Hunter Davidsohn.
