Biography

Hi everybody, my musical favorites and influences will – strange but true – not be found in the dance music, neither in electronic music, but still in the prog-rock and avant-garde rock from the 70ies, being my absolutely favorite band Pink Floyd... also earlier bands like Velvet Underground, King Crimson, and top bands like Yes, Supertramp, Alan Parsons Project, etc... - all from that same time - are still favorites of mine, not to forget the "krautrock" music from Tangerine Dream and – obviously - Klaus Schulze (see below) and also Brian Eno and Vangelis being my synthesizer favorites... for my latin lounge music were Antonio Carlos Jobim and also Bebel Gilberto the biggest influences, while deep is pretty new for me and still not, seen my old house vinyl records early/halfway the 90ies, as you’ll also read below... okay here we go…

My first feelings for music and rhythm were – briefly said – clearly present but a “little bit” unstable during my first child years (hurting my father's ears... :-D ), and so my parents decided to subscribe me for a classical piano education when I was still a very young child.

After finishing the whole piano stairway I got my first synthesizer… it was a dream present to me, an old Roland, and I was completely in love with it.

Party's came, discotheques, and at 18 (and starting university – studying Law) obviously the girls and the glasses, but finally I found back my old love; the synth – a very small grey one – 303 !! :)

Some vinyl dance records followed (oldskool house and trance, I'm still talking before halfway 90ies), marriage with my wife in 1997, and two wonderful but never sleeping children Elisa & Arthur.

Life walks in mysterious ways, with big ups and downs, however at some good day I bought another synth… pure analogue power and lots of features this time… and this made me entering the music world again, the beginning of a nice and pure analogue synth collection, modular patching, my own music dream studio, and wanting to be a son of Klaus Schulze in a matter of speaking (at least making his kind of surrealistic synth music too). I composed a kind of improvisation ambient music using only pure analogue synthesizers, and talked about nothing but synths - moderating many known forums worldwide under my old but pretty known 3-letters nickname starting with a “T” (as many synth freaks probably still will remember)...

It was halfway 2010 when I wanted to start something completely different (musically spoken), something more relaxing and enjoying, including more acoustic instruments, and for a wider audience, and this finally made me becoming a lounge composer/producer/remixer. Latin jazz rhythms, percussion, and not to forget latin jazz chords were the key to most latin lounge tracks of mine, while chillaxing was the key to my chillout music side. Deep lounge is the third part of the cake, and right now I'm also working on jazz piano – the hard matter of progressions and experimentation – to fulfill the lounge cake sooner or later.

And lounge releases ? My first lounge release was “Elisa’s Story” mentioning my lovely daughter on a compilation track released on Jan, 1st 2012, and I hope many more will follow…

As musician pur sang I really hope you'll like my music, I really made it all from the heart, so please sit down and listen...
