could. Inspired by artists like The Beatles,

Bob Dylan, Simon and Garfunkel, Elvis

Presley, Johnny Cash, and countless others,

Pink developed a taste for retro music and

style. After years of performing music as

well as acting on stage, Pink made the long

journey to Memphis, Tennessee to return to his

family's southern roots and dive into a music

career.

Always politically minded, Pink began to

write folk and country music about the

current state of the nation.

While his style may be retro, his views are

not. His music celebrates progressiveness

and the differences that make America

such a special place while rejecting white

supremacy and intolerance.
