Biography
Purple Mountain is the first Rockin' Country compilation to be released by the Masterwerks label. It's that place where rock and country meet and as one fan said: "That's Right In My Wheelhouse"!
From the Downbeat of the opener "That'll Never Win" you're going to know what we are talking about.Just check out the groove on "Middle Path"and it is obvious that this is the real deal...But wait, this is not just a goodtime record ,how about the rare beauty of "Wish You Well" followed by the plain 'ol fun "Diddly"..When it comes down to it we can say THIS CD has great songs on it.There's fun stuff too,the kick up your heels "Not Just Any Lovin'" fits the bill.
