Biography
Pushwagnergruppen are an Oslo-based Norwegian trio formed in 2024, blending punk, noise rock and absurdist performance into what they describe as "dada punk." Their songs are short, raw and deliberately anti-linear, pairing fuzz-heavy instrumentation with surreal, free-associative lyrics that reject conventional storytelling. The band consists of vocalist Geir Magne Staurland (Surrealismus), bassist Tor-Arne "Da Gama" Vikingstad (formerly of Sløtface) and drummer Per Åsmund Reymert.
The group's self-titled debut arrived in 2024, followed by Dadaland (2025) and Eurodada (2026). Their recordings have featured collaborations with artists including Edvard Valberg of Honningbarna, Amir Asgharnejad, Jesse Hughes of Eagles of Death Metal and Andrej Nebb of De Press.
