Biography
Root Souljah is the band that introduced roots reggae to the Bulgarian music scene. Emerged in the end of 2005, when founders Cheeba, Alex G and Sen I made a few records and presented the band in rasta.cult.bg. After some more studio production and live demand, Root Souljah’s present line up grew up to 8 musicians.
First stage appearance (On 6 December 2006 in Sofia, Bulgaria - a celebration of the international Volunteer’s Day) swept in full accord with the band’s message. Soon followed by tours in Macedonia, Slovenia and a self-titled EP release, Root Souljah now work on their first long-play album, so stay tuned…and let Jah light be thy guide.
