Biography
Launched in 2026, RubinCarter is a Dutch indie rock band fronted by vocalist and guitarist, Sal Rubenstein. Based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, Sal is normally the drummer in indie rock upstarts Queen's Pleasure. There is a difference between the two bands: the influences of Queen's Pleasure are primarily British, whereas RubinCarter's music feels more like a hommage to American bands of yesteryear (think The Replacements and Dinosaur Jr, but with a shot of acoustic folk in the mix). RubinCarter's debut EP, Still in the Race, came out in April 2026.
