“Ruins Of An Empire is a band of contrast and deception. Playing a progressively expansive form of metal, they are set to stamp their brand of thinking man’s violence onto a dull and unsuspecting populace.

Behind a wall of intensity and a penchant for brutality beyond their years, the band understands the importance of soothing melodies and exploratory structures, often meandering off in unexpected directions. Coupled with this willingness to explore is a keen attention to detail, using layered guitars to create lush textures.

Much like an abusive husband, Ruins Of An Empire lulls audiences into a false sense of security by comforting them with a haunting piano melody or a softly weeping solo before inevitably striking them down again in violent fury.”

Ruins of an Empire has an new EP out located at http://ruinsofanempire.bandcamp.com/. They are in the process of writing new songs and are hoping to release a full length album before they die.
