He's active in a flood of circle, THE KEBABS and SATETSU (all Vo, G). He's also releasing music solo under the name 佐々木亮介 (Ryosuke Sasaki) even though he often uses the pseudonym LEO.

His activities are wide-ranging: he actively pursues solo projects that incorporate global trends, as well as numerous collaborative units. Beyond music, his endeavors extend to hosting a podcast channel, writing reviews for music magazines, and designing artwork and merchandise for his own releases—a breadth of talent and communicative influence that establishes him as a truly rare presence within the Japanese music scene.

He graduated from the Department of Broadcasting at the College of Art, Nihon University. He formed the band a flood of circle after a chance encounter with Masashi Okaniwa (guitar; left the band in 2009), who happened to be sitting in the seat next to him at university.

His favorite band is Spitz—so much so that he has claimed, "I love Spitz more than anyone else in this world". The very first album he ever purchased was *Fake Fur* by Spitz.

During his childhood, he lived in Belgium for three years and in London for two years due to his parents' work. The school he attended while living in London was a Japanese school that Kosuke Saito of UNISON SQUARE GARDEN had also previously attended.

He has been close friends for many years with Tomoya Tabuchi of UNISON SQUARE GARDEN, who produced the song "Midnight Crawler." Just prior to his major-label debut, Tabuchi once handed him a 2-kilogram bag of rice, telling him, "Man, you're skin and bones!".

He is the first Japanese musician to sign an endorsement deal with Gretsch Guitars.

For live performances, a leather jacket is his standard attire. He wears one even in the summer. He is—by his own admission and that of others—a true expert on leather jackets.

During live shows, his drink of choice used to be *Onikoroshi* sake; however, he has recently switched to *ochawari* (shochu mixed with tea).

He is a favorite among older musicians—including Akinobu Imai, Koji Ueno, the band *Katte ni Shiyagare*, and Shigeru Nakano (of Anarchy)—and frequently participates in jam sessions with them.

He appeared as a guest vocalist on Akinobu Imai's album, *Nokirou*.

Together with Shigeru Nakano, he formed a unit called LTD EXHAUST, alongside Kazuma Koshikawa (THE STARBEMS; formerly of Keigawa no Maries), Yokai (formerly of JAPAN-Kyogeki-SPECIAL), and Katsuhiko Sakazume (of Dohatsuten).

In 2016, he formed a band called The Hosomes. Ryosuke Sasaki (Vo & G) / Kyosuke (G / Bakudan Johnny) / Yasu (B / DOES) / Jet Seiya (Dr / go!go!vanillas)

THE KEBABS was formed in 2018. Members: Ryosuke Sasaki (Vo & G) / Hiroki Arai (G / ex-serial TV drama) / Tomoya Tabuchi (B / UNISON SQUARE GARDEN) / Hiroyuki Suzuki (Dr / QUADRANGLE).

Within his bands, he handles the lyrics and composition for nearly every song.

His musical scope is broad, encompassing not only rock 'n' roll but also soul, funk, and hip-hop.

In February 2017, he traveled to Royal Studios in Memphis to record his first solo mini-album, *LEO*. Produced by Lawrence Mitchell—son of Hi Records' Willie Mitchell—and featuring contributions from musicians such as Leroy Hodges and Charles Hodges, the album garnered widespread critical acclaim.

He is also highly regarded for his solo acoustic live performances; together with Masashi Yamada (THE BACK HORN), Takuro Sugawara (9mm Parabellum Bullet), and Taku Muramatsu (Nothing's Carved In Stone), he has formed an acoustic collective known as SHIKABANE.

He provided the vocals for "Chōzetsu Muteki Blader!"—the opening theme for the TV anime *Beyblade Burst Turbo*.
