Biography
Shizumaru is a Malaysian solo artist who takes a lot of his musical inspiration from various death metal, thrash metal, industrial metal bands, movies and video games. His music can be described as an intense hybrid of headbang-able metal riffs with synths, ambient and dramatic effects.

Born in 1977, grew up listening to Jimi Hendrix and Blondie, and then later to Nirvana, Deftones, Static-X and Pitchshifter. Hooked to much more aggressive bands, such as Sepultura, Iced Earth and Cradle Of Filth as a teenager and broaden his perspective on music writing.
Early 2018, Decapitated and Ola Englund from Feared / The Haunted managed to capture his attention and drove him into learning more about music composition, production and recording. A self-taught musician, learning curve was high and somewhat slow, but the thought of doing it for his passion and family excelled.
In June 2019, his self-produced and mixed Single entitled; Blackout, was released. Mastered by the infamous Scott Atkins (Cradle Of Filth, Behemoth, Monument, Sylosis, Amon Amarth, Savage Messiah)
