Biography
Scrooge Flu formed in early 2009 by vocalist General Malfunction, drummer Sir Licious and guitarist, Captain Strings (of Shadow Era), with a rush of idea that turned into "I Miss You" after one take. The first Scrooge Flu session didn't stop, and the band moved on to record the entire "Lucky Camel" album in one day. When Scrooge Flu went back into the studio in March 2009 to record album number two, they had already gathered around 2 fans.
"Fire In The Legs Of Jesus" was a concept album and was revealed to the world via the country-death track "I Sold My Soul". As the Scrooge Flu lads went on, they brought a keyboard into their authentic mix of acoustic and funk to record the majority of their second album. Tracks like "Christmas Eve" which show Scrooge Flu's mixing abilities were eventually omitted from the final tracklisting.

As soon as Fire was completed, Scrooge Flu went on an indefinite hiatus due to the band members having to sit exams. However, even the educational system did not stop Scrooge Flu, who re-recorded hit song "Phattest Men" with professional production values. The newest song from Scrooge Flu's latest album "Mozart On A Go-kart", tentatively named "The Sword/Fresh Prince Of Limerick" has an obvious heavy metal influence but still managing to encapsulate the funk elements of their first album.
