Biography
Seeds of Iblis claims to be a four-member group from Iraq, but many aspects of the band's lineup and history have been questioned as dubious. Photos of the band members have been plagiarized from a number of sources, including promotional photos by Norwegian black metal band Vulture Lord, and from a photo set by Mexican photographer Raúl González. Commentators, such as Metalluminati author Hetal, have also questioned many inconsistencies in several interviews with front "woman" Anahita relating to the band member's timelines and activities.
Seeds of Iblis claims to be part of a movement called the "Arabic Anti-Islamic Legion" along with other bands that claim to be from Muslim countries like تدنيس, Janaza, مسجد الشيطان (Mosque of Satan) and False Allah (but all bands are dubious of their true origin for the same reasons).
