Biography
Serpent Lord is an American pagan black metal project from Battle Ground, Washington, originally active in the early 2000s and revived in 2026. It is a solo/primary project of Jake Superchi (known from Ceremonial Castings, Uada,...).
Originally formed in 2003, Serpent Lord released demos in the mid-2000s before going dormant. It channels the spirit of 90s pagan black metal with epic, melodic, and ritualistic elements, incorporating acoustic guitars, synths, and raw black metal fury. Themes revolve around paganism, Odinism, nature, and ancient ways as a genuine lifestyle rather than mere aesthetics. The 2026 revival delivers a faithful return to that classic sound.
