Shambala Networks is a solo musical project, the first ambient moniker of Oliver Dombi, who was born in Transylvania, on Christmas evening in 1981. In the first part of the 90s Oliver was mostly influenced by Metal and Hardcore music, later also influenced by Psychedelic Trance and Ambient. He started to produce music in 2001 and made his first release in 2006. In the end of 2006 He set-up His own label: ADX Records (Audiosex Records). In 2011 He created a sister-label for ADX: Ancient Language Records. ADX was for Trance, Techno, Darkpsy, Ambient (Various Styles) Ancient Language is only for Ambient. Officially all releases remain under the maintenance of ADX. His Ambient works are available (via label-worx.com) on all Major Digital Shops like i-tunes, emusic, beatport, amazon, juno, etc and also released on CDs Distributed by: Saikosounds, Wirikuta, Arabesque, Beatspace, and Cassette+Cd on Ozky E Sound. SHAMBALA NETWORKS is Oliver Dombi from Transylvania. He started producing music in the end of 2001. His debut ambient album was released in 2008, the album called DEEP SPIRITUAL NETWORK CONNECTIONS. In 2009 he released his second album: THE SOLIPSIST. The name SHAMBALA NETWORKS overlays that, there are more places like shambhala, in and outside the Universe: the whole shambala networking system, connected through all living beings across the universe and through all multidimensional hyperspaces, which is a profound deep spiritual connection. SHAMBALA NETWORKS is a meditative Music, with deep emotianal abstract melodies and slow beats, or no beats at all, made with a spiritual concept, to grew the spirit, to attain the Almigthy, to find ourselves.
Oliver Dombi is an artist from transylvania, born at christmas eve in 1981. He started his music career in 2006 under one artistname: Audiosex. Later he decided to release his music under more than one artist/project name, why he made and makes a lot of genres&styles. He created 3 project names: Shambala Networks, Oliver Dombi and Audiosex. Shambala Networks is mostly for ambient, downtempo, experimental, triphop, meditative chill, atmospheric avantgarde , etc stuff, Audiosex is for darkpsy, goa/psy-trance, hard techno, Dnb, BrokenBeat mostly harder and darker stuff but also powerful uplifting trance or fullon [and so on] and Oliver Dombi is for minimal, techtrance, deep & progressive house, electro, liquid & nujazz, pop, trance, etc sounds. He is mostly known as Audiosex, because in the beginning he made & released his music only under this name, but with time people started to know him as Oliver Dombi and Shambala Networks as well. His releases are available, no matter if as Oliver Dombi or Shambala Networks or Audiosex on thousands of webshops like itunes, e-music, medianet, beatsdigital, etc. He also makes CD releases which are available on Wirikuta, Psyshop, Beatspace, Saikosounds, etc. His debut track 'Better kill others than yourself' was released on vinyl as well. He cooperated with a few labels and digital distribuitors too, but he puts out his records mostly through his own label, adx records (audiosex records) The label was created in the end of 2006 and by that time his projectnames were not yet created, so this is how the label was named AuDioseX records.
Oliver gets in contact with music in a deeper and more individual way around 1992 …As a matter of fact he didn’t like electronic music at all. 2unlimited, capella or any mainstream sound in the 90s was just ‘stupid music’ for him. One of the first influences was judas priest, painkiller … but heavy metal wasn’t his style either, though he loves judas or similar music even today.. he was very influenced by thrash, death, black metal and of course hardcore, like madball, biohazard etc … rap metal as well … some classical music and doom death too, like therion, paradise lost etc … when he found the underground side of electronic music in the mid 90s, he felt in love with it immediately… .. some recorded tapes were brought to him by one of his neighbour .. his neighbour gave him cause he knew that Oliver loved this so called ‘sick rock music’… till these days he never knew what that was, what band or producer, he just knew it was called techno hardcore, drum n bass, hard trance, etc... But still more influenced by metal music. The deepest contact with electronic music was in the late 90s when he meets trance.. goa trance, psytrance, etc. It was a total change in his life. Goa, ambient, darktrance, etc became his favourite style together with metal music … This influenced him so deeply that he started to think about producing music. He never really loved DJs and never really was interested in DJing, but producing became the essence of his life...
