Biography
Crepuscular, groggy and squashed jazz noir shimmies by Antwerp’s (contra)bassist and composer Simon Beeckaert (Handkerchief, The Groovecats Deluxe, Wij Blij Trio, Dries), suffusing his downbeat grooves with a certain slow, suddy audness native to his port-city home.
