Biography
Sofá was formed in 1998 when Carlos and Jorge Cháirez get together with Luis E. G. Domínguez "el Bitle" to form a rock band with trip hop elements, Gilberto Cerezo was looking to do something similar so he joined quickly. To complete the band they called Enrique Camacho, who had worked with Gil in Pasto (seminal band from Monterrey where Pato Chapa started his career to later find success with Control Machete).
Sofá worked non-stop until 2000, when Carlos and Gil parted ways to form Kinky.
