Biography
Screaming through the speakers of a road ready PA comes a band out for vengeance to create a sound that hasn’t been born. A bastard child of pain and redemption 'Frankensteined' into one sound: Solace Recoil. Dealing with hardships and uphill battles with life, work, and age, this band defies the odds and sticks together through all of it. Knowing that talent storms around them like a tornado and keeps them locked inside, they are ready to rise from the storm, grip the reigns of the metal scene, and dominate the road ahead of them. Writing is key to their future, keeping a 'no rule' approach, without sounding like some kind of indie-going-nowhere catastrophe, and that is definitely the task at hand. Growing up, all five members have made their mark in different parts of the country, in various bands and line ups. The two newest additions, Pat McCann and Marty Hutcherson, give the pre existing members a run for their money, generating melodies and solos for the project. Before Pat and Marty joined the band, it was a metal core mix of nu metal and modern art. Now they are a rising force of every type of music welded into one. Before the new guys came along, Solace Recoil consisted of two brothers, Kevin and Todd Miller, a power house duo of rhythm and earthquakes, Dan Case, the man with a voice that will crawl inside your ears, devour everything and leave, and the late Brandon Roden, a musical talent who left this world too soon.
The name Solace Recoil to them means a return after healing. To overcome and prevail. To always remember, no matter how hard things can get, you can always return.
